Memorials object by Mr Lloyd and 11 oclock Great Patriotic Service with special music salute to the flag by Roosevelt Troop 2 Boy Scouts. Sermon by Rev S A Lloyd on The Soul of the Nation. Roosevelt Troop 2 to meet 7 15 at headquarters. Dramatic presentation of a moral tale next Wednesday at 8 by men of the church.
St. Augustine's Parish schedules Holy Communion services on May 29 Memorial Day and June 1 at 8 and 11 o'clock with a 9:45 Church school. Troop 4 Boy Scouts camp near Glencoe features a pig roast under scoutmaster Clark Leach. Women of St. Augustine's attend United Thank Offering in Oak Park. Guilds and Daughters of the King pause summer meetings. Sir Galahad initiates three new Pages and one Esquire with King Daniel Brower presiding. A church service precedes the initiation.
English Lutheran Greenleaf and Seventh William Guise invite members to worship on June 1 with a sermon on The allowed Sacrifice and Blessed Hope of Two Great Days. Bible School at 9:45, Children's Day planning, Missionary meeting June 5, and a future Confirmation and Holy Communion on June 8.
