Army Training Camps for Boys Spark Youth Citizenship
Section 47d of the National Defense Act backs military training camps for boys age 17 to 21 with free uniforms meals and travel paid. Last year 20000 boys attended one month sessions teaching discipline fitness and citizenship rather than combat skills. Col H C Boyden leads Wilmette recruitment with 22 boys already enlisted.
