Doctor to Attend Illinois Osteopathic Convention
Dr. Harold R. Schildberg trustee of the Illinois Osteopathic association will travel to Rockford for the 39th annual Illinois Osteopathic convention May 17 to 19 at the Hotel Nelson. Attendees include 400 physicians from Illinois and beyond, with speakers from Chicago Philadelphia Kansas City Des Moines and more. Dr. Ira Walton Drew, congressman from Pennsylvania, will address the gathering on pediatric disease treatment. Dr. Edward A. Ward and Dr. Russell C. McCaughan of Chicago will represent the American Osteopathic association and discuss socialized medicine and health law modernization.

Census plan directs school based data collection
Part of the census will be conducted through schools with blank forms distributed there and a house to house canvass for non enrolled families. The aim is to estimate future public school enrollment to guide the immediate construction of a primary class building in the Kenilworth Gardens Indian Hill Estates area, with completion targeted around June 1. Wilmette school district boundaries include No Man's Lane and parts of Glenview, while areas west of Hiburn road and north of Wilmette above Chestnut avenue lie outside the district.
