The Central Laurel P T A schedules its final meeting of the year for Tuesday May 14 at 2 45 o clock in Byron Stolp gymnasium with recreation as the theme Daniel M Davis will outline summer plans for Wilmette Slides from the Outdoor Recreational bureau of Chicago will be shown Musical numbers will be by Central and Howard school bands directed by J C Schumacher and dances by the Laurel school class led by Miss Georgiana Weedon Reports on Mattoon and La Grange conferences will be given Mothers of Central Kindergarten tots and teacher Miss Flentye hosted April 30 at Mrs C S McCoy 730 Ashland Avenue. Assisting were Mrs J W Fisher Jr Mrs J W Sheddon and Mrs P B Idler. The Laurel school kindergarten mothers and teacher Mrs Virginia Delana were hosted at Mrs Eugene Arms 221 Woodbine Avenue.

Richard Warren Roberts eleven year old son of Mr and Mrs Charles F Roberts of Winnetka died Saturday April 27 from a streptococcic infection. He is survived by his parents and brother John Scott Roberts. Funeral services were held Monday April 29 at 2.30 pm.
