New Trier Ends Baseball Season With 6 1 Victory
New Trier closed the season by defeating Proviso 6 to 1 at Indian Hill field. Captain Way Thompson pitched a solid game, allowing only four hits as New Trier collected ten off the Proviso mound. Lekowitz tripled and Saxton scored on a wild throw for the first run, then New Trier pulled away with multiple hits and baserunning highlights. Clayton Paulson was elected captain for the 1930 Gray and Green squad.
