North Shore Area council Expands Boy Scouts Presence
Commissioner Albert P. Snite notes growth of the North Shore Area council from 300 Scouts in 20 troops to 1053 active Scouts in 43 troops in 2 1/2 years. Conservative estimates put 1200 by year end, with a new summer camp expanding outdoor opportunities across Wilmette Winnetka Glenco e Highland Park Highwood Lake Forest and surrounding towns.
