Northwestern senior class chooses Miss Nellie Gibbs popular
Miss Nellie Gibbs of Elmwood Illinois daughter of Mr and Mrs Walter C Gibbs has been voted the most popular girl in Northwestern University's senior class. She has lived in Wilmette at Miss Alice Burchards home 1424 Forest Avenue since entering New Trier High School as a sophomore seven years ago and has been prominent in Northwestern women’s activities since freshman year.

Scout Troop No.5 Records Strong Parents’ Night
More than 100 people attended the annual Parents' Night at the First Presbyterian church hosted by Boy Scout Troop No. 5. Walter McPeek spoke on Scouting history and purpose and awarded Tenderfoot badges to six new Scouts. The troop outlined plans for a parent club and a Troop room in the church to display trophies. The year’s achievements included 15 new recruits, one Eagle, one Life, eight First Class, and nine Second Class Scouts.
