Society Attends Army Post Horse Show at Fort Sheridan
The Fort Sheridan horse show opens Friday and Saturday as a benefit for the Army Relief society. North Shore residents will attend the event with a luncheon in the tea tent hosted by the board directors. Attendees include Gov Louis J Emmerson and Mrs Emmerson Gov Fred Kohler of Wisconsin and Mrs Kohler Admiral and Mrs Walker Crosley Gen and Mrs Parker Gen and Mrs Robert F E Wood Judge and Mrs Clarence N Goodwin Col and Mrs K R McCormick Col and Mrs W H Browning Col and Mars T A Sequeland and Major and Mrs Frederick Melaughlin plus numerous others. Mrs Hannah Norton Dies of Heart Trouble
Mrs. Hannah E Norton of Wilmette died after a heart attack on July 4 following a fireworks event at Dyche stadium. She was 614 Central Avenue and died in Evanston at Dr Harry Swanson's office. Survived by husband William W Norton son Howard sister Mrs Mihm and brothers Jonathan and Daniel Borg. Burial at Lockport Illinois after services July 6.

Funeral Rites Held for Mrs Gudrun Nielsen
Funeral services for Mrs Gudrun M Nielsen 48 of 321 Maple Ave Wilmette were held Monday at Scotts funeral home. She died Friday night July 5 after weeks of illness. She was wife of Waldemar Nielsen civil engineer and mother of Norman 17 and Charlotte 15. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery.
