Village Board approves tax warrant acceptance for 1931 taxes
The village board at its regular meeting Tuesday night authorized Sanborn Hale township collector to accept Wilmette corporate tax warrants as payment for the village's share of the 1931 general taxes. Zoning Board Denies Plan to Split Corner Lot
The zoning board of appeals recommended denial of James Crabb’s plan to divide his northeast corner lot at Gregory Avenue and Fifteenth Street into two parcels. The village board approved the denial at its regular meeting Monday. Crabb hoped to build a house on each proposed lot. The lot has 62.5 feet of frontage on Gregory Avenue and 170 feet of depth along Fifteenth Street.

Harmony Convention Open Meeting in Wilmette Friday

The Wilmette Perpetual Harmony Convention will select a slate of candidates for village offices to be voted on in the annual Spring election. The convention asks individuals or groups to suggest candidates for consideration. The meeting is open to all voters with an expected large turnout.
