Civilians Tie Up Victory in Crissey Field Car Strip Test

Civilians from the J. E. French San Francisco Dodge Brothers service station beat soldier mechanics in a Crissey Field Air Circus demonstration. Both teams dismantled two 1917 Dodge Brothers cars to a bare frame and rebuilt them in under 18 minutes, with the civilian crew finishing in 7.8 minutes after starting the reassembly. A local Dodge dealer cited the win as proof that approved service stations deliver faster, more reliable maintenance for owners.
