Norw ay Lake Men Escape Auto Tragedy Near Delano
Ole Ringness and Syvert Skindelien of Norway Lake narrowly escaped death when their new Mitchell touring car was struck by a Great Northern mail train three miles from Delano while en route to Minneapolis. The car was wrecked and Ringness faces substantial losses though both men escaped serious injury. train engine damaged. Lars Halvorson of this city saw the wrecked car the following day.

Singers Shine At Willmar Concert By Reimestad And Cranston
The Reimestad Cranston concert at the Lutheran Free church Friday evening drew a large, appreciative audience. Prof Reimestad, a well known Scandinavian tenor, impressed many with his improved voice. Cranston, a promising lyric tenor, captivated listeners with a refined rendition. The two voices blended beautifully in duets, promising a crowded reception if they return to Willmar. The concert netted the Y P A about $70.

Maloney Buys Corner and Adjacent Lot on Third Street
James J. Maroney acquired the corner lot and adjoining building south of his confectionery. The 50 by 75 foot site is described as a prime Third street corner. The purchase price is reported as 4000 dollars. J P Madison of Minneapolis visited Willmar last week for business and met with Maloney. the Madison family plans to move back to Willmar and occupy a residence on Litchfield avenue soon.

New Salvation Army Captain Arrives in Willmar
Captain M Fristrup from Chicago takes charge of Salvation Army work in Willmar with a four week campaign. Meetings are held nightly on Fourth Street and later in Army Hall on Third Street. Fristrup, a professional musician, handles 20 instruments and has twenty years with the Army. A coffee social at 8 pm next Friday offers free admission and invites Rent-League members.

Will Build Large Garage On Sixth Street Corner
A new up to date automobile garage will be built at the corner of Sixth street and Litchfield avenue diagonally opposite the power house. Colored gentleman touts Tuskegee Institute here and abroad
C R Hosmer of the Tuskegee Institute spoke with Willmar residents and heads to St Cloud for church talks. He outlined Tuskegee's founding in 1881, 170 instructors, 1700 students plus 475 children, 3000 acres and 100 buildings built by students. Since opening, over 9000 have completed courses and many work as industrial workers and teachers. Martin Hund, eight miles south of Willmar, lost a finger on a corn binder yesterday and came to town to dress the hand.
