Otos Recovering After Severe Accident and Rescue
Harry Otos, in a severe accident, survived due to quick thinking and risk, but lost a leg near the hip after stepping between cars to pull a broken coup ling pin. He rallied after amputation and is on the road to recovery while directing hospital transport. A pretty church wedding took place at Svea Lutheran church last Thursday. Miss Anna Josephine Lindgren married Mr. Frank Otto Franzien at 2 PM in front of nearly two hundred guests. Rev A J Ryden officiated. The bride wore a gown of white Peau de Chine and white roses. Attendants included Ella Nelson Ella Lindberg in white with purple asters. maid of honor Mabel Lindgren in white voile with white asters. Groom's attendants were George and Sigfrid Johnson. Flowers and music noted, wedding dinner served at the bride's home. The couple will reside in Norman. Heartfelt congratulations to Mr and Mrs Franzien.

Also included are notice of infant Joseph Henry Neer Halvorson’s death from scalding injury at New London. Ole Gulickson of Dovre died Sept 13 in Kandiyohi county with funeral at Long Lake church and Oak Hill cemetery.

Return From North Dakota Visit Plans for New Home
Mr and Mrs M N Fauchald returned yesterday from a summer spent on their son Nels Fauchald farm near Osnabrook North Dakota. They were there since April 17 and praised North Dakota hospitality. He plans to vote at the primary election. They will stay with son Oscar in this city while seeking a house or building one.

Big Engines Pass Through Willmar on Great Northern Order
The first 2000 class engine reached Willmar west ward en route to the mountain division. A fourth engine was observed in the yard with length over 110 feet, four sets of drivers, and a 240 ton weight, claimed as the largest engine made. Twenty engines have been purchased by the Great Northern and will pass through this week on the way west. The Ladies Auxiliary of the B of L F and E plans a quilt exhibit at the County Fair and urges visitors to view it. Ed Healy departed for a brief business trip to the cities.

The fair opens today at one with a Willmar Military Band concert and free attractions around 2 30 with the Idania troupe of lady gymnasts. A parade and rides follow, fireworks tonight, and an auto bus runs from Johnson's to the grounds every 20 minutes for ten cents. Saturday features an automobile parade with cash prizes, parade details and judging slated for the exhibits, stock sale Friday, and school dismissals at 2 30 during the fair. The event honors James J Hill at a banquet in St Paul Monday night.
