White Way Over A Mile In Length
Street lighting was approved by a 6 to 2 vote to extend the White Way from Third Street West to Sixth Street East and from Sixth Street West to Tenth Street West. Accident injures Benson dentist and daughter near town
Dr. Rice a Benson dentist collided with a telephone pole early Sunday while entering town from the west after steering gear broke. Large Sunburg band picnic draws huge crowd at grove
The seventh annual Sunburg Band picnic at the grove near Sunburg drew an unusually large crowd. Atty Charles Johnson of Willmar and Ray E Weeks of Kerkhoven spoke, with Senator P A Gandrud presiding. Music by the Sunburg Band and the Brooten Band followed by games and sports. Attendance estimated from 3500 to 1000 people.
