Lost finger amputated in hay bucket accident
Emil Hedin son of A M Hedin of Lake Lillian had the first finger of one hand caught in a hay bucket last Thursday afternoon. The finger was amputated. He is staying at the Peter Larson home in this city while his hand is treated.

Spicer Train Accident Injures Foreston Man
Struck by the water tank spout on an extra Sandstone and Willmar division train 1221 at Spicer Saturday at nine o clock, Leo Kennedy, a brakeman, sustained a deep back head wound needing stitches and bruises. Treated at Bethesda hospital in Willmar. Kennedy, of Foreston, Minnesota, is recovering well with his mother present. His father and brother visited later, traveling from Foreston.

Just before press time we report that Harry Otos switching foreman was crushed beneath cars he was moving and lost his left leg above the knee. He was taken to Bethesda hospital where surgeons operate. He was recently married and is the son of Burton Otos, the barber, and is held in high regard by fellow workers. Kandiyohi County booth at the State Fair attracted crowds. judges ignored beauty, awarding county exhibit a prize of about 141 dollars despite a total score of 934.
