Body Found of Murdered Man in Glencoe Area

John Gust Larson of Slayton Minnesota, a wealthy retired furrier, disappeared while on duty. Detectives reported a suspect captured in connection with the case as authorities piece together the events from the morning of July 28.

Two Graceville visitors stay in Willmar briefly

Misses Elsie and Florence Larson of Graceville visited Willmar last Thursday. Elsie returned Friday while Florence remained to resume study at the Willmar high school. Mrs C. L. Brown also returned to Minneapolis after visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. B. I. Branton.

Murder suspect case gets partial hearing in city hall

A two hour hearing in city hall district court examined the death of Carl H. Anderson on July 6 with Joseph Franks as the accused. Prosecutor Charles Johnson led seven witnesses including undertaker Andrew Peterson and Sheriff Peter Bonde while Dr. John Jacobs described the corpse. Detective M. F. Hallowell presented evidence on fingerprint marks. Judge Muller adjourned to Thursday at 10 AM for continuation.

Seventy Five Homes Planned By Willmar Builders

The Willmar Home Building Company bought 104 lots between First and Fifth streets south of the 4th Ward Pavilion from J. S. Robbins Erick Holt Gov. A. E. Rice and Kandiyah County Bank. They will construct seventy five houses on installment terms for moderate means. Five Arrests by Food Inspector In St Paul

State Food Inspector Peter Behletty announced five arrests in St Paul for milk trader violations. Herman Tallakson was fined 25 dollars for unsanitary cow housing. four others Robert Thompson Edward Hanson Jack Chase and L. J. Eady were each fined 15 dollars plus costs for butterfat content violations. Wedding Next Wednesday in St Paul. Obituary of Clara Helen Skoolheim in Willmar

Clara Helen Skoolheim a Willmar clerk of probate court died at home on Seventh Street North after a brief illness from spinal meningitis aged 24 years 8 months and 3 days. Wedding in Atwater Unites Fassen-Neal Couple

A wedding at Atwater on Friday August 29 united Joseph Fassen Neal and Amy A. Anderson in the bride's home with about one hundred guests. Rev M LeVander officiated, Leoline Gardner served as bridesmaid, and music by Miss Mary Anderson and Mrs Andrew Nelson. The couple plans a trip to New York and Washington and will reside in Pullman Washington in October where the groom works for the state Agricultural school. A baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Arthur McLaird last Thursday.
