A group including Mrs. F. W. Minton and Mrs. C. E. Hornbeck chaperoned Willmar girls at the Litchfield Willmar football game in Litchfield. Mrs. A. G. Foster and a younger child joined several Willmar teachers for the trip. Other locals, such as Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Tallman and Helen Tallman with guests, traveled to Litchfield for the game.

Obituary of Alfred Trulson Of Willmar Minnesota

Alfred Trulson died at his Willmar home on Friday morning October 21 after long illness from an incurable kidney disease. Born May 18 1871 in Fairlawn he was the eldest son of Nels and Mrs Trulson. He married Nannie Sjoberg July 2 1900 and lived on a Fahlun farm before moving to Willmar last spring due to health. He was a farmer and a man of strict character.

Twelve Confirmations Reported At Nor Lutheran Synod Church

The Nor Lutheran Synod church in Willmar held its seventh confirmation class on Sunday Oct 23 with 12 youths led by Rev J N Andersen. The service ran nearly three hours and included hymns an octette and a sermon on fear the Lord and serve Him. An alumni meeting followed with officers elected and a banner for attendance won by class of 1908. Funeral notices for Martha Jonasdotter Peterson appear with details of her life and survivors.
