Had Right Eye Removed In Shuck Farm Accident
Marinus Bosch and his father J B Bosch traveled from Priauburg to Minneapolis for surgery after a farm accident October. A shotgun blast severed his right eye while a brother fired near him. Doctors in Minneapolis determined the eye could not be saved and removed it. The operation at Northwestern hospital was successful.

A large gathering of farmers from the southeastern county met at Thorpe school house in East Lake Lillian on Saturday to press for extension and completion of the Lake Lillian ditch. They petition the state drainage commission for aid to lower widen and extend the five miles into Meeker county, arguing the original construction left the water without outlet.
