Robbery at New London Post Office Still Unsolved
The New London post office robbery last Wednesday remains a mystery with three suspects described by authorities. A tall dark man about 160 pounds, a shorter 140 pound individual, and a slim 160 pound person in a dark suit were seen in town from Spicer arriving at dusk. They visited Norstedt's market, queried for a livery barn, and allegedly broke into Skeio's blacksmith shop, stealing a sledge hammer found near Dr. Hottoes. The alarm was raised at seven, and investigators traced footprints and clothing, with Sheriff Lundquist en route from Reymond for further leads.
