Death of prominent Minneapolis businessman Lewis Moline Jr
Prominent business figure Lewis Moline Jr of Johnson Moline Co dies at his parents home after a brief illness. Born in Sweden in 1866, he grew up in Svea and Kandepah, later guiding Johnson Moline & Co and Willmar brick yards. He served as alderman in 1901 and as secretary of the Northwestern Brick Manufacturers Association. Funeral arranged at Bethel Swedish Lutheran church with Swedish and English services, burial in Svea Lutheran cemetery.

Rose Madison Fractures Ankle At St Paul Academy
Friends report Miss Rose Madison of this city injured at St Josephs Academy St Paul while descending a stake to the music room she slipped and fractured her left ankle. She was taken to Sir Josephs Hospital where the limb was placed in a cast and later returned home in good condition expected to resume studies soon.

Trio of Willmar Boys Die in Foot Lake Tragedy Funeral Services Held
The remains of Allyn Birch Arthur Cramer and Palmer Telstad were laid to rest after drowning at Foot Lake. Crowds gathered at First Presbyterian and Lutheran churches as services featured Rev Buell and Norse and English sermons, with schools and businesses closing in mourning. Athletes and classmates acted as pallbearers while floral tributes poured in from teachers classmates merchants and neighbors. The two services drew large crowds and the processions to Fairview cemetery were lengthy and solemn.
