John Bergquist, born October 27 1848 in Hofmann torp Kronobergs län Sweden, died at 108 Becker Ave W after tuberculosis of the breast bone and years of frailty. He came to America in 1868 settling Kandiyohi, later Willmar, farmed, active Lutheran church member, survived by wife Emma Charlotte Hakanson Bet, and children.

Floyd Wessel, born September 20 1893 in Carroll County Iowa, funeral cortege followed as his casket reached its final resting place. A recent Army draftee, he died October 2 at Camp Grant from a prevalent sickness. He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Harbert Weasel, one brother Herbert, three sisters Mrs Harm Van Halen Marshall Oklahoma Mrs Fred Brewers Rheiderland Township and Mamie, plus out of town relatives John Kuiper and family Clara City.
