Eva Norman Ryden passed away at her home on Sevomil Street in Willmar after several weeks illness at age TN. Funeral services will be held Sunday with Rev. Holmquist at the residence and Rev. Bergquist at Manvel Lutheran church. An obituary sketch will appear next week. The countys pioneer woman Mrs Anders Forsberg died at Isaac Nuril Strom residence aged 92. Funeral was held at Nordstrom residence with Rev. J Holmstad, interment Fairview. Pallbearers were six grandsons. Henry Stone of Atwater visited on Wednesday.

Pennock Young Man Enters Revival Work
David Swenson of Pennock, now a Moody Bible Institute student in Chicago, is named as a member of an open air evangelistic group sent out weekly by the Institute. The teams preach the gospel by message and song on busy street corners and in Chicago avenues, often drawing audiences in the hundreds. Before entering the institute he was an active figure in the Sunday School work of the Swedish Mission Church of Pennock.

A group of gridiron stars and boosters in the city plans to form an independent football team. The squad would be eligible to play American Legion games and schedule matches. Mrs Peter O Hall dies at home in Atwater after long illness kidney and heart trouble. Born November 22 1840 in Ruby Parish Sweden, she emigrated aged 12. She moved with husband to Atwater Minnesota in 1870 and was a longtime member of the Swedish Lutheran church. Survived by husband two daughters and several relatives. Funeral held at Atwater Swedish Lutheran church conducted by Rev M Le Vantler.

Former Colfax Resident Dies in Mississippi
Gustaf Nickelaus Highstrom, born in Sweden in 1826, died October 2 in Centerville, Mississippi at age 84. He lived in Colfax township for 34 years, served Kandiyohi County as surveyor and held local offices. Survived by wife Johannah Osberg, three sons William Theodore and Wmil, daughter Mrs. Constance Olson, stepchildren, eighteen grandchildren, and other relatives.

Auto Hits Buggy Near Mile Corner Injures Farmer
W S Hubartt a farmer two miles east of the city suffered several painful bruises to the head this Wednesday night about 9 30 when an auto driven by four Willmar youths collided with his buggy on the pavement at the mile crossing. Hubartt was hurled to the ground but escaped serious injuries. The buggy was wrecked while the car and occupants appeared uninjured.
