Three youths aged 10 to 14 were rounded up by police for thefts linked to a summer spree in the city. Led by a confession, investigators found pencils pens and a printing outfit stolen from Lincoln school and other property, including pigeons and rabbits. Peter Bonde resigns as chief of police of Willmar Minnesota with effect October 1st. The resignation was filed with the city clerk and sent to the city council for action. At the last council meeting no quorum was present to take official action while Mayor Quale is away. Alfred Gilbertson serves as acting night officer and G H Stephens serves as night policeman. Died Suddenly in New London Family Bereavement
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Winblad mourn the death of their three year old daughter Frances from spasms after a day of play. Three Pipestone runaways found by sheriff in Willmar area
Three Indian boys Frank Gardner John Cobel and James Pemberton were found Monday night by Sheriff Lundquist at a dago shanty in the east end of the railroad yards. They admitted they were from Leeuh Lake and were among ten boys wanted at Pipestone. The sheriff held them at his county boarding house before returning them to Pipestone.
