Kandiyohi Hogs Win Prize Money at St Paul Show
John Swenson of St Johns placed second with a carload of 50 Durac Jersey hogs at the St Paul stock show last week. He earned 60 dollars in prize money and 40 cents above market price per hundred, the first such prize for Kandiyohi county. Swenson plans to devote more time to breeding high quality hogs and urges other farmers to exhibit their stock.
