Readers are invited to choose Christmas gifts from the china exhibited by St Agnes Guild. Various church and social events are noted across Willmar and surrounding towns, including services at Presbyterian and Norwegian Lutheran churches, fund drives for the House of the Good Shepherd, and a Dec 3 organ recital by Gordham Graham under St Agnes Guild auspices.
Mrs. Caroline M. Eddy died at her Whitefield home on Friday November 15 due to general debility from old age. Born March 27 1888 in Dudley Massachusetts she and Pacial P. Eddy moved across several states before settling in Kandiyohi County in 1880. Survived by husband six children and nine grandchildren the funeral was held in Willmar with services in Whitefield and at the Scotton home. burial at Fairview cemetery.

Miss Elizabeth Heick visiting Willmar. a six o'clock dinner in her honor at H C Hanson’s. she departs for Hutchinson next week.

Ben Halvorson announces a three day clearing sale on Tuesday to Thursday at Norway Lake store. Rev R K Fielstad attends three day meetings at nearby churches. Gina Skaalerud returns home after visit with Carl Skaalerud family.
Three half starved, stiff frozen boys, about ten years old, were found in a box car at a railway yard. They had ridden from St Paul to Breckenridge and back without food since the previous morning. After thawing out they recovered somewhat and showed signs of prior similar trips.
Roseland reports a quiet wedding at the home of Joe Toupal. Edward Feitarek and Miss Mary Toupal were joined in marriage with best wishes for their life together. Geo Cernovahlee returns from Nebraska after funeral duties for relatives, plans to leave Wednesday for West London. Local chatter notes wedding rumors and a town board appointment to fill a vacancy. Lars Peterson and Osten Quandahl from Webster, SD, visit old friends and neighbors, former farmers south of town.
Sheriff from Benson arrests Frank Cleary a brakeman in Swift county over claims a drunken man on a freight train said Cleary took his forty dollars. The caboose crew deny the accusation calling it groundless and blame heavy whisky.
Katie Bruns wed Julius Holtz at the Bruns home south of Prinsburg in a ceremony led by Rev. E Beyer of the Raymond Lutheran church. The couple, popular with friends, plan to reside locally and received numerous gifts. The event followed by a day of dancing and socializing with relatives and neighbors.
Osmund Lunde a longtime Dovre resident and early Norwegian immigrant died last Friday after a pneumonia attack. Born May 7 1827 in Vinje Telemarken Norway he traveled from Wisconsin to Dakota County and then to Kandyohi County settling in Dovre township. He served in Co D Eleventh Minnesota during the Civil War and left a widow. funeral held at Eagle Lake Church with Rev Gynild officiating.

J E Johnson returns from Twin Cities visit. Religious meeting at Roselillian schoolhouse and mission meeting at Long Lake church. H P Peterson narrowly escapes wagon accident on railroad. Gilbert Heglund selling enlargements. Mission meeting at Christine church planned. Rev G C Peterson to give farewell sermon December 1. Evening school Dist 83 to host an entertainment. sale planned by August Anderson of East Lake Lillian on Nov 26.
Ace A Aretander reports Dr. John son attended a girl with appendicitis at T. E. Rood's on Monday. A Thanksgiving program will be held at Dist 56 schoolhouse led by Miss Skutle. Dist 54 road drainage offers hope of better access to the schoolhouse. Annie and Oscar Peterson visited Rossum's Saturday evening. Meetings run Nov 16 to 26 at H Myhre's. John Hensum has returned after two months in Nelson County. Confirmation at East Norway Lake church on Sunday Dec 1.
