Mrs. Caroline M. Eddy Dead in Kandiyohi County

Mrs. Caroline M. Eddy died at her Whitefield home on Friday November 15 due to general debility from old age. Born March 27 1888 in Dudley Massachusetts she and Pacial P. Eddy moved across several states before settling in Kandiyohi County in 1880. Survived by husband six children and nine grandchildren the funeral was held in Willmar with services in Whitefield and at the Scotton home. burial at Fairview cemetery.

JUVENILE TRAMPS RESCUE REVEALS FROZEN BOYS IN BOX CAR

Three half starved, stiff frozen boys, about ten years old, were found in a box car at a railway yard. They had ridden from St Paul to Breckenridge and back without food since the previous morning. After thawing out they recovered somewhat and showed signs of prior similar trips.

Sheriff from Benson arrests Frank Cleary a brakeman in Swift county over claims a drunken man on a freight train said Cleary took his forty dollars. The caboose crew deny the accusation calling it groundless and blame heavy whisky.

Holland wedding joins Bruns and Holtz in Prinsburg

Katie Bruns wed Julius Holtz at the Bruns home south of Prinsburg in a ceremony led by Rev. E Beyer of the Raymond Lutheran church. The couple, popular with friends, plan to reside locally and received numerous gifts. The event followed by a day of dancing and socializing with relatives and neighbors.

Mustered Out Osmund Lunde Dies at Dovre Village

Osmund Lunde a longtime Dovre resident and early Norwegian immigrant died last Friday after a pneumonia attack. Born May 7 1827 in Vinje Telemarken Norway he traveled from Wisconsin to Dakota County and then to Kandyohi County settling in Dovre township. He served in Co D Eleventh Minnesota during the Civil War and left a widow. funeral held at Eagle Lake Church with Rev Gynild officiating.
