Official Returns Of Election In Kandiyohi County

Kandiyohi County voters cast ballots on multiple offices with Republican nominees dominating. The county totals show 3387 counted from 3954 registered, with results listed for judge, congress, county officials, and constitutional amendments, plus scattered ward and town votes across Willmar and Kandiyohi.

Miss May Lester spends Sunday at her Atwater home. Many residents visit Benson, DeGraff, Minneapolis, Kerkhoven, and surrounding towns. Attendance at a Seminary chapel program by Casco society, court moves, and local transfers fill the week. The Emerson family undergoes state care for four boys, while a two year old dies and a hotel owner sells property in Lake Lillian.

Hunting Big Game in Northern Minnesota Opens Deer Season

Northern Minnesota woods report a strong deer season with many licenses issued. Kandiyohi county residents listed among license holders including De Flora, Sjequist, Latterell, Day, Moore, Henderson, McManus, Hagen, Feig and others. The state expects 10 000 hunters to visit forests as 16 000 to 20 000 licenses circulate statewide. Season runs November 10 through November 30. Passed Away Yesterday: Floren, aged 65, father of Joba Floren of three miles north, died at 12 30 pm. He leaves a wife and son. Funeral tomorrow at 1 pm from Solomon Lake Synod church with Rev. Anderson officiating.

A minor kitchen fire started by piled kindling behind the stove on Benson Avenue prompted a forenoon call to the fire department. Timely response prevented serious damage as spectators gathered to watch, and firemen reported a lively spirit.

Royal Neighbor Honored Before Moving to Milaca

Mrs. Martin Sorenson receives a surprise farewell from Royal Neighbors Camp at the H. J. Ramsett home with a silver water set engraved R N A. About fifty guests attend, then the group joins Woodmen at Bonde Hall for a midnight lunch before Sorenson and her daughters depart for Milaca to join husband at an elevator job. Old Resident Mrs Johnson Dies After Illness

Mrs. Ole W. Johnson, longtime resident of the city for 22 years, died last evening at 7 at her Third Street home from cancer. She had been a widow 15 years and left no immediate family. a sister, Mrs. John Bergquist, and other relatives in Minneapolis survive. Funeral is Friday at 2 PM from Swedish Lutheran Church with Rev. Peterson officiating. interment at Fairview Cemetery. Miss Olive Stansberry departed for Minneapolis Thursday to visit friends and relatives.
