Sunday Dancing Prohibited by Harrison Board in 1922
Harrison Town Board banned Sunday dancing in public halls within the township and set a $50 annual license fee. Sheriff Bonde warned Diamond Lake pavilion operators to obtain a license before hosting any dances, as many patrons attended last Sunday unaware of the ruling. The Kandiyohi County Farm Loan picnic is set for June 7 at Spicer Park with speeches, dinner, and a band schedule. A group of local youths enjoyed an Eagle Lake outing at Brogren’s cottage with meals and games.
