Willmar Council Passes Library Ordinance and Chooses Water Members
The Willmar city council met last Monday with all members present except Alderman Sandbo. It approved the third reading of the library fund ordinance and repealed the prior library closure ordinance, with new numbers assigned. Elections for Water and Light commissioners proceeded, nominating Lars Halvorson for a three year term and delaying a decision on the city attorney candidate after several ballots. At the Willmar Commercial Club meeting the 25 dollar membership was reduced to 10 dollars. Lawn prizes were set at 10, 7.5, 5, and 2.5 dollars totaling 25. The Litchfield band offered eight summer concerts at 2.00 each, with per man and leader stipends and travel funds for Grove City members, plus 200 dollars raised for new uniforms for a Deco ration Day turnout.

Settlement Reached Over Otter Horses Collision
