The Charter Commission was urged to consider a two year election cycle and water main extensions funding. Switchman Roach Dies From Injuries
Thomas Roach a switchman, died at two this morning from injuries suffered in a freight-yard accident last Friday night. Born in Earl Park Indiana, he married in 1903 at Haywarden Iowa and leaves a wife and four children. Funeral set for Saturday at St Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev Father McDevitt officiating.

Stock Shipping Association Report Highlights Local Growth
The Farmers' Shipping Association under Tobias Rasmussen as buyer and R C Sletten as secretary reports 18 carloads of stock shipped in the year. The shipments included 1,032 hogs and 179 cattle, home weight 235,960 pounds with 2,086 pounds shrinkage. Revenue totaled 24,974.40 with 1,295 in expenses, yielding a net 23,678.74 to be divided among sellers. Minnesota has many such associations and more farmers are encouraged to join Rasmussen in the city.
