Gen Supt Scott visited Willmar while father McDevitt spent Friday in Litchfield. Otto Isaacson of Atwater visited relatives. John Williams returned from the cities Sunday. Elizabeth McLaughlin and Matilda Hjort hosted friends in the region. Esther Rodlin and Anna Schollin joined weekend gatherings. Several locals traveled to the cities for visits or business. George Winney, master mechanic, is away on the Huron line. Mrs Carl Carlson and Mrs Charles German left for Minneapolis for a short stay. others hosted kin from Hutchinson, Denver, and Valley City in Willmar.

Concert and studio plans brighten Willmar scene

Remodeling the Berkness, Peterson & Co. block into a first class photo gallery underway with a large skylight and heating plant. C A Baklund returns to Willmar to run the studio, and J K Forsberg joins as photographer. A concert by The Concert Trio will entertain at the Presbyterian church. The St Patrick’s Day events featured an AOH tea at Carlson's hall with Irish music and readings, followed by dancing. The W C T U reports growth to over 100 members and upcoming banquet. A St Agnes Guild concert at the Opera House next Wednesday features Kathleen Hart and Mary Allen. Mourning extends to Mrs. Burns over her mother Mrs. Doyle's death in Darwin aged 80. Socials and engagements fill Willmar life with notices of marriages and gatherings.

Fine Homes Talent Actors Pleasing to All

Set of fine homes talent actors carried out their parts slickly and everybody present felt much pleased with the performance. Bethania Ladies Aid meets with the Torkel Suite Thursday this week at Georgeville schoolhouse Tuesday March 28 between 12 and 10 oclock by Rev. Tolo. A basket social and entertainment will be given in Dist No 11 Friday evening Mar 24. Everyone welcome. The Minerva L Society meets in Ringville schoolhouse Saturday evening Apr 1. The debate: Resolved that the reciprocity law between Canada and United States should be ratified. Everyone welcome. It may be the last meeting this season.

Street Fair board fixed the Willmar Street Fair dates for September 13 to 16, following the state fair. William OQ. Johnson re-elected secretary. $1000 in cash premiums authorized. premium book to be issued earlier this season. Committees were elected to begin preliminary work on fair features.
