The Fair announces a bonafide ten day sale beginning tomorrow with sharp price cuts across all lines. A fine line of new summer suiting and other stock is reduced to move surplus quickly and attract new business.
A large Willmar crowd gathered Monday evening to discuss the approaching city election. Dr Johnson urged candor on ticket origins and questioned a local paper's franchise report. Citizens urged restraint on city spending and endorsed a petition with speeches by Hilleboe Forsberg and Williams.
March notes from Prinsburg report Mr and Mrs J Nieuwebuisen on a Willmar business trip. Mr and Mrs Van Der Geist head to Lake Milton stock farm near Priam for work. Klaas Visser seeks Lake Milton farm manager post. Gerret Boschhan returns from Fillmore county and Minneapolis. The Molensars sail homeward as their shipboard voyage continues. Pheifer youngsters spent Sunday with relatives, and Misses Van Leveren and Fergestead hosted friends Friday night.

BVEEA March 18 report recalls Rev J C Lundberg surprised after sermon by Rev Peterson from Willmar who presented furniture and hard ash from the Svea congregation. Peter Erickson Reese Riis an early Lake Andrew resident died after a three month illness at his home near Lake Andrew at 1 am aged 80 years. He was born in 1823 in Skedsmoe Norway and served in the Danish Prussian war. He emigrated to America in 1861, settled in St. Cloud then Lake Andrew. Survived by wife Maurie and five children C M Reese Minneapolis, Mrs C M Marboe Minneapolis, Mrs P A Odell Willmar, Arnt and Julia Reese Lake Andrew, plus three brothers in Norway and four sisters in Faribault county. Funeral was held Thursday at East Norway Lake church with Rev D C Jordath officiating.
A real estate transaction completed yesterday involves Henry Ames of Litchfield trading his Walnut Grove Stock and Dairy Farm of 260 acres two and a half miles from Litchfield for the Ruble block on Firsh street in Willmar. The Willmar property, a three story brick block, is a prime commercial asset with modern facilities and ample storage, and the deal is valued around 840,000.

Names include J A Norman, Lofgren, Alex Johanson, Magnus Magnuson, N J Stjernlot, and many others moving houses, hiring out for summer work, or visiting relatives. The William Olson residence in Spicer is leased by county commissioners for one year as a county poorhouse. Isaac Olson will oversee and manage the site, with a rent of 246 dollars annually and 20.50 per month. The plan includes furnishing bedrooms by the county and a weekly board allowance for inmates. Three rooms reserved for the Olson family. Ready by April 1 near Greenlake.
