Big Tabernacle Near Completion

A large volunteer effort led by Mr Ralph Conrad built the Aldrich Campaign Tabernacle, 120 by 70 feet, with seating for 1300, a speaker’s platform, chorus circle, and ample warming with five stoves and ventilation. Churches donated meals, and O H Ekdahl provided housing for evangelistic guests ahead of the March 27 opening.

Soldier Boy Died at Camp Grant Honored in Obituary

Armenian and Syrian Relief Drive Exceeds County Goal

Willmar Minn March 18 1919 County relief campaign report by Miss Lillie Noren shows Kandiyah county exceeded its 35700 goal by 37141 with total expenses 2709 for printing postage and phone charges. Strong musical director joins Aldrich Evangelistic Party in Willmar

Rex J. Moon of Chicago joins the Aldrich campaigns as musical director with seven years directing evangelistic choirs. He has conducted eight Twin Cities choruses, led 600 voices in St. Paul, and now Willmar plans a 200 to 400 voice chorus under his leadership. The first big rehearsal is set for Friday night March 28 at the Tabernacle.

Branton Hosts Nurses Dinner and Theatre Party

Dr and Mrs B J Branton entertained Willmar Hospital nurses at their 2nd Street East home with a four course dinner for eleven. Decor featured St Patrick's colors and cut flowers. Later the group attended a theatre party at the Majestic.
