Raymond student wins second prize in declamatory contest
Grace Jonk of Raymond a senior in the University of Minnesota school of agriculture won second place in the dramatic and narrative art section of the annual declamatory contest earning 35 dollars. The school part of the agriculture department has graduated over 2700 with 95 percent returning to farms. Students spend six months at University Farm and six on a farm applying university lessons under department inspectors earning credits toward graduation or entrance into the college of agriculture.
