Three Deaths From Flu In One Mamre Family
Three deaths traced to flu in Mamre due to pneumonia follow influenza in the Gunderson family. Eliot Gunderson born May 17, 1852 in Grue Norway died March 2 after five days illness. Son Christian born January 26, 1886 died March 6 after three days. Daughter Esther Amanda born October 7, 1909 died March 6 with brother. Survived by wife, two sons, four daughters, six grandchildren, and siblings in Minnesota and North Dakota. The Ladies Society of the S B I and D entertained at their annual banquet March 5 at Odd Fellows Hall with a patriotic dinner and toasts.
