Raymond Holds Dry As Harrison Votes Wet In Local Election
Town meeting day saw Raymond vote dry by a 15 vote margin while Harrison went wet by four. Reported results varied 64 to 58 or 56 to 60 with over 120 ballots cast in Harrison. Contests loom as liquor issue stirs local sentiment and wholesale beer moves appear likely. Nearby counties show mixed dry and wet outcomes with De Graff abolishing saloons by ten votes.
