George P Tangen mourns death of son George born March 9 1893 after a week’s illness from pneumonia and heart failure. He attended Minneapolis school since New Years. funeral last Friday at Colfax cemetery with Rev R B Lund officiating. Pallbearers listed. parents mourn his loss.

A Gettysburg investor seeks to locate an overall and glove factory in Willmar offering a $1,600 bonus and a bond in double the amount. Elks Plan Erection of Block on Masonic Corner
Willmar Elks, led by Treasurer W F Gratz, have completed negotiations to buy the Masonic corner for 6000 dollars with a 60 day option. Plans call for a two store block with ground floor stores and upper lodge rooms. Desirable long term tenants secured for the stores. A lodge meeting tomorrow will decide on the erection. Peterson Qvale lumber yard now occupies the lot to be moved south to adjacent land owned by the firm. The Ellis building would be a substantial improvement and a handsome addition to Fourth street business.
