Funds aim to aid 800,000 destitute in Trans Caucasian district and Cilicia. Willmar quota is 1,000 and county 5,700 with pledges paid within 30 days.

Rev Philip Broburg formerly of New London now rector of St Sigfrid's Church in St Paul has been named Provost of the Swedish work of the Episcopal church in the Northwest. The appointment comes from the church wide campaign and will involve missionary duties and recruiting for the ministry. Bethel Young Ladies Society renames itself Pidelis to reflect its faithfulness. A concert is planned likely for April 25 by Esther Pearson of Chicago, sister to Rev W E Pearson former Bethel pastor. Mission Church Bazaar Aims For Town Bazaar Saturday
The Willing Workers of the Swedish Mie church plan a bazaar at the Temples Thursday afternoon and evening. Afternoon offerings include sandwiches pickles cake and coffee for 15 cents. A 5 o’clock supper costs 25 cents with baked ham scalloped potatoes and coffee. Fancy and inserted articles will be displayed all day. About 35 members of The Ancient Order of United Workmen No 62 Willmar held an initiation last Thursday night with a banquet served at 6 30 p m. about eighty men attended. Master Workman H G Young spoke to Judge Gobet and Grand Treasurer McQuire before the event.
