Eastern Star marks fifteenth anniversary in Willmar
The Willmar area chapter of the Eastern Star celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with special exercises and guest Mary C. Taylor of Minneapolis Grand Secretary, who organized the local chapter. Delegations from nearby towns attended. a luncheon followed. Separately, A C Crawford of Ottawa thanked local friends for over 100 birthday cards on his fiftieth, and a minor fire alarm at H T Olson’s drew a prompt, uneventful response amid snow. At a faculty meeting held at Donaldson's last Saturday night a state wide campaign for a men's building to be erected at the University as a tribute to President Northrop was launched. Northrop will retire next July after twenty six years as president. The plans for the building provide for all the various aspects.
