The Willmar Choral Society under David Nyvall Jr. delivered a moving Messiah at High School Auditorium with eight choruses, soloists Agnes East Snyder Clara Williams George Krieger Harry Phillips and Miss Nell Robbins. The audience praised the performance as outstanding, with strong enunciation and harmony, while tickets sold out and a postconcert lunch followed. A meeting of the Women's Athletic Club was postponed to Friday due to a scheduling clash with the Parent Teachers Association.

Evening Classes At Willmar High School
Evening classes are held Mondays and Thursdays from seven to nine at Willmar High School. Instructors include Supt. Geo Brohaugh and Prof. Harry Wahlstrand. Inspector Brownell Tests Willmar Water Quality
O H Brownell of the Minnesota State Board of Health and the Federal Government inspected Willmar's water on Tuesday testing supply quality. He noted Willmar water has previously been very good and expected no change this year. Majestic Sold to Franklin Co in Minneapolis deal
The Franklin Amusement Company of Minneapolis, owner of the Dreamland Theatre, bought the Majestic Theatre and its business from J. P. Crisp. The transfer surprised many as Crisp had recently named Mark Carey Majestic manager before leaving for North Dakota. The Majestic will close temporarily and reopen Saturdays. Dreamland will host regular performances, and Carey becomes Dreamland manager. BONDS ON PAR The city banks announce Victory Bonds are redeemable at par with 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 percent interest. Liberty Bonds quote near 97 with some as low as 83 on the market. The January 1921 slump in Government Bonds is noted. Mr and Mrs Erick Erickson of Colfax visited the city before returning home.

Double Header Strikes Snowplow Disaster At Willmar
The wreck killed two Willmar men and a third from Minneapolis or St. Paul after Train No 10 crashed into a snow plow near Delano. Engineers Hollis McDonald and R E McCabe faced fatal injuries while Norman McLeod and George Pelton survived with severe wounds. The crash occurred as No 10 tried to make up time on the Western route, with more than 400 passengers affected and crews scrambling to warn oncoming trains.
