Mrs Sule Petresog died early Tuesday at her home four miles west of Wilimar. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Lutheran church. Rev. Forgnist of Coinock will officiate. pallbearers and specifics to follow in next issue.
Iderman Wid Mes and N. A. Jensen arrived Monday morning from Portland where they attended the Shrine convention held recently. They praised the far west and the coast cities in their remarks.
Mrs William Jensen entertained a number of friends Monday evening at a whist party. Refreshments were served and all enjoyed the event. A son from Denver Colorado visiting relatives in Entel during the stay.
An oak grove at Mount Ton foot and a natural amphitheater hosted the official dedication of Sibley State Park on a Saturday in Kandiyohi County. About nine thousand people attended the dedication with speakers including Commissioner Carlos Vorsil and locals at a reunion of the Old Settlers Association. The event featured bands, remarks by Senator Gandrud, and a formal address by Carlos Avery on preserving the park as a public, nature-focused trust.

Anna Sletten left for Norway Lake. John Johnson and family from St Paul visiting A P Brandt. Margaret and Marjorie Tallman celebrated at Crescent Beach. Gust Wille of Northfield visited Ole Rasmussen. Quinn Sorum hired at Hallin Drug Store. Dr Robert V Malmgren advertises dental services. Jimi E Bredberg and family visited sister Mrs Oscar Lar. Rev F A Wahlquist of St Paul visited district Swedish Methodists. Chresten Arneson Willmar caller then Twin Cities. William Jensen hosted dinner for Harold Seiseth wedding couple. Mrs Carl Engen and daughter from Cottonwood left for Fergus Falls.
Friday at Park Auditorium Kandiyohi county common schools will award diplomas to a class of 161 students. The program includes musical selections by local groups and a church choir, followed by refreshments. The Gardena program lists many students by district and names dozens of attendees. A Sunday School picnic and social events at nearby lakeshore locations are also noted.
Charles A. Oberg chosen by Atty. Geo H. Otterness to take over his Willmar law practice after years in St. Paul. Oberg to arrive in July to establish residence. Otterness currently with Kandiyohi County Bank. Also notes travel and social items including visits, a birthday party for Mrs. J. P. Announcement of a new schedule to begin after July 1 at the Willmar post office. Holiday deliveries may be canceled due to no carrier to spare, and late closing changes aim to curb inefficiency from the city train schedule.
A Nonpartisan League convention will be held at the Willmar Court House Saturday July 3 at 7 p.m. All delegates committee men and boosters are urged to attend. County Committee Chairman O Bergquist announces the event with emphasis on important farmer affairs to be discussed.
