The city of Willmar won by a wide margin in a primary vote on issuing 80000 in bonds to extend enlarge and improve the Municipal Light Plant. The total in favor reached 871 to 251 with the Second Ward showing the largest approval at 198 votes. Precinct results varied by ward and precinct.

Old Settlers Meet at Sibley Park (Kandiyohi County)
The Kandiyohi County Old Settlers Association held its 192% reunion at Sibley Park Cedar Hill with a large turnout and a picnic atmosphere.
