Plans for 10 Street Fair Opens 1910 Committee
The 1910 Street Fair will run September 14 to 17. A Kandiyohi County exhibit with up to 1000 dollars in cash prizes is planned. The association targets better attractions and tented stands to replace board shacks. Also noted are a West Litchfield Ave sale and Carlton College success of Carl Jacobson in the Stimpson Prize Junior debate.

Plans for new post office building approved by Crosby
Preliminary plans for a new Federal post office in Willmar Minnesota were sent to Postmaster Crosby for approval and possible changes. James Knox Taylor of Washington designed a one story building with basement fronting Fourth Street and Litchfield Avenue. The plan includes a spacious lobby a large central work room and two safe deposit vaults with a proposed cost of 50000 dollars. Start date unknown but likely summer with permanent plans and bids to follow.

Special trains depart Atwater at 7 30 a m and Willmar at 8 10 a m with stops at Kandiyohi Grue and Spicer. Andrew P Carlson pioneer of Kerkhoven township dies at St Paul Soldier's Home at 3 45 a m after paralysis earlier. Funeral held at Frank Lake Mission church with Rev Steinert and Frykman officiating. He was born Oct 2 1833 in Horla Sweden and came to America in 1863. Survived by five children and three brothers. Ralph the Engineer reports Meeker Kandiyohi judicial ditch inspection nearly complete. cost 42000 dollars. Mrs Robert Tait and Miss Kathrine Tait visit St Paul.

Ten Willmar graduates map futures after class year
Willmar High School and Seminary graduates plan next steps for fall studies at St. Cloud Normal the State University and Carleton College with several headed to dentistry education and domestic science. A few will move to new states or seek work in mills and the commercial world as others prepare for teaching or further study. The graduation exercises drew large crowds and netted funds for a desk and athletics while eighth graders funded a piano and desks for their teachers.

Progress Clothing Store to Close as Sale Continues
The Progress Clothing Store in the city will close as owners decide to go out of business. Friend and Marks of Chicago are handling the sale with C. H. Rowell overseeing from May 28 to June 28. New, clean stock and bargain prices invite prospective buyers to inspect the inventory. Next, Presbyterian church youth group will host a talent social with a ten cent lunch to raise funds for the Christian Endeavor Society.

Eddy Dairy Farm visit showcases modern sanitary dairy in Willmar
A party of Willmar business men toured the Eddy dairy farm seven miles southwest. The 500 acre site features a modern, sanitary complex with acetylene lighting, cement tanks, a milk house, pasteurization at 155 degrees, and refrigerated cream kept at 46 degrees. Visitors enjoyed a farm supper and praised the facilities. The article also notes the upcoming marriage of Miss Minnie Victoria Johnson to Mauritz Alexius Karlson at 4 PM at the Johnson home with limited guests.
