Committee Inspects Residence Grounds in Public Improvements
The Willmar Commercial Club committee on public improvements conducted the first examination of private residence grounds for 1910 progress on July 15. They noted improvements in street cleanliness in front of homes and that flowers and lawns look stressed by heat but may recover, with credit on score sheets for clean streets. The park board may need to deter vandalism in Homewood Park, as whittling tables and benches continues. Mrs A Adams hosts her sister from Detroit, Minn, and other guests from St Paul and Crescent Beach share Sunday activities with local hosts.
