Wedded Wednesday at Atwater Swedish Lutheran Church

The marriage of Mr. William Strom of Louriston Chippewa County and Miss Lydia Altman of Ubla place was solemnized at the Swedish Lutheran church in Atwater on Wednesday at 3 pm. Rev. Schoberg officiated. Guests witnessed the ceremony as Otto Strom, Harry Berg, and Elmer Anderson attended the couple, with bridesmaids Hilda Altman Mary Clausen and Emma Peterson. A wedding supper followed at the town hall. The couple will begin housekeeping at the groom’s Chippewa County farm.

Injuries Prove Fatal In New London Village Accident

Peter Lindberg an elderly resident died after a fall on the dump north of New London while hauling brush for the town Overseer J O Thompson. He stumbled on straw and brush, suffered internal injuries likely rupture of the spleen or pancreas, and died about 9 o clock this morning. Funeral was held Saturday from the Swedish Lutheran church in New London.
