Head of Packing Plant Spoke Here
The Farmers' Warehouse rally drew hundreds of farmers and business readers to hear Ira B. Chryst president of Farmers' Terminal Packing Company outline cooperative benefits. He argued finished products and by products reduce costs, citing Wisconsin creameries, and praised the plant now being installed with about 500000 dollars raised and plans to reach 1 million. He predicted ten profits added from farm to consumer, five cut by coop, and addressed questions about competition with Big Packers and possible elimination of intermediaries.
