Kandiyohi Horticultural Society Holds 1907 Session at Bonde Hall
The Kandiyohi County Horticultural Society met January 2 1907 at Bonde Hall with about twenty members. President Frye led, minutes were deferred, and two temporary executive members were appointed. A committee on resolutions drafted bills to locate an experimental station in Kandiyohi County and to exhibit agricultural products at the next State Fair. Resolutions praised Chas A Birch and noted his impending departure from the state. Officers were elected: P H Frye president, C C Belvig secretary treasurer, with Hilleboe Wickland and Reaiveron on the executive board.

Long Life Ended in Swedenborn Lady at Eighty Three
Mrs Karin Olson Johnson aged 83 years 6 months 16 days died after strokes over three years and a final illness. Born July 8 1824 in Dalarne Sweden she emigrated to America in 1889 with husband John M Johnson. Survived by Lewis Johnson and others. funeral held at Lewis Johnson home with Rev G Peterson, burial at Svea church cemetery. Willmar and New London area church district division discussed with officers elected for the coming year. Community notices include lectures and a Swedish Mission oyster supper at the church basement later this week.
