Marriage At Fergus Falls Unites William Moldenhauer and Lydia Redlin
William Moldenhauer of this city and Lydia Redlin of Fergus Falls wed last week in Fergus Falls, then traveled to the twin cities before returning. They will reside in the old Post Office building and be at home after February first, with congratulations from The Tribune. Nels Nelson, pioneer and longtime St Johns Lutheran leader, died January 9 after a yearlong illness. He was born 1843 in Denmark and immigrated to Minnesota, serving as teacher, treasurer, deacon, and community builder in Willmar and St Johns. Funeral services were held January 13 at St Johns Church. Oscar Thompson of Green Lake died January 11 at St. Raphael’s hospital, St. Cloud, after pneumonia. He lived in Green Lake Township, worked at well drilling, and served as post office clerk in Willmar. seven brothers and three sisters survive. Hens J. Henjum, longtime Arctander resident, died January 11. funeral was held January 16 at Hast Norway Lake church. A reception for new Presbyterian members is planned January 18 at church parlors, with a brief program and refreshments. Royal Neighbors dance on January 23 at Carlson hall. Supper 15 cents.
