Crushed by the Cars At Willmar Yard

A Willmar and Kandiyohi county accident left brakeman John Mossberg severely injured after being run over by a switch engine and cars in the east yard. Surgeons amputated his left leg below the knee and the right foot, with additional injuries to the collarbone and head. The victim, recently hired as freight brakeman on the Willmar and Sioux Falls line, remains hospitalized while doctors monitor recovery.
