Miss Ragan Erickson and S J Fladeboe of Eagle Lake were married January first at three oclock in the bride’s sister home. Rev M B Michaelson officiated. Only close relatives attended. a wedding supper followed at the bride’s home. The gown was pale blue silk with white carnation bouquet. Maid of honor was Agnes Erickson. Alvig attended the groom. The couple will reside at the Peter Erickson home in Eagle Lake.
Holiday decorations framed the marriage of Miss Ida Alphia Jacobson to Sievert Benson at the bride’s mother home. The ceremony was by Rev. M. R. Michaelson with maid of honor Ellen Linguist, and a reception and supper followed. The couple will reside at 608 South Street after brief travels.

At a Willmar denial meeting Friday evening the Fire Chief C C Selvig and Assistant Chief Charlie Jorgenson were re elected. After the election, Mayor and Councilmen joined a banquet at the Commercial Hotel with speeches from I C Gilbert and E C Wellin. The event was praised as one of the most enjoyable in the department’s history and added to memories of 1910.
The Willmar Commercial Club met amid blustery weather and elected Einar C. Wellin for a seventh consecutive year as president. G O Sand named vice president, C W Odell treasurer, and S R Stanford chosen secretary. About 600 to 700 visitors expected. invitation extended to Norwegian Lutheran Free Church of America to hold annual meeting in Willmar.

Death of N P Larson announced with funeral planned for Sunday January 8 at 2 20 PM at St Luke s church. Services at the grave to be led by the Masonic Orders of which the deceased was a member. Private services at residence at 2 PM. Miss Laura Jorgenson and Miss Amy Jorgenson hosted friends for Myrtle Johnson who visited over holiday from the University of North Dakota. Commissioner Nels Johnson of New London, guest of his brother at Litchfield, returns for the January board session.
