Osseo Local Notes Show Visitors Conduct and Events

Local residents travel for vacations visit relatives and return. Osseo Literary Society plans a Monday reunion at Seminary hall with a banquet and toasts after a social hour. The play A New School Madam is set for Saturday with the Osseo society promoting the program and advertising committee named.

Armstrong Will Remain in Willmar as Singer Manager

C. V. Armstrong will stay in Willmar as manager for the Singer Sewing Machine Co. after reviewing offers of Michigan territory, the Sioux Falls office, or the Grand Forks office. He chose to remain in Willmar. The Ladies Social Union of the Presbyterian church plans a coffee at Mrs. J. H. Martin’s home on Friday afternoon.

New Train Schedule Update From St Paul To Seattle

Great Northern changes No 3 the Fast Mail schedule to depart St Paul at 10 20 p m daily starting Feb 28 with through routing via Willmar Casselton and Aneta to Spokane and Seattle arriving 12 25 noon fourth day. Odell Hedlund Wedding in Willmar to Kerkhoven

Charles C Hedlund of Kerkhoven and Miss Julia Odell of Willmar wed at the bride’s mother home last Wednesday afternoon. Rev Herbert McHenry performed the ceremony witnessed by relatives. After lunch the couple traveled to the twin cities and returned to Willmar before moving to Kerkhoven. Both are well known locally with Hedlund a Kerkhoven business member and Odell a Willmar native. The Tribune extends best wishes for their married life.

Shorty Peterson the road news agent returns to routes

E A Peterson known as Shorty resumes running between St Cloud and Sioux City after two years living on his father’s Atwater farm. Swedish Lutheran delegates attend Minnesota conference meeting

Rev. G. Peterson and S J Hall Quist from the local church attended with Sven Carlberg for the Mamne congregation to the annual meeting of the Minnesota Conference of the Swedish Lutheran church in Minneapolis yesterday. Rev. J. C. Lundberg and Erick Moline of Sveaars were also in attendance.

News arrived that Archie W. Olds formerly at Palm's Idael bakery died Monday from complications of diabetes. His death occurred in Minneapolis where he visited with his parents and relatives during a short home stay.
