A large congregation attended two patriotic ceremonies as Bethel church unveiled a service flag with ten stars and presented a second flag in honor of fourteen cadets. Rev Jesper Holmouter gave a Romans 8:28 message, with musical solos by Nori Jonson and others, plus selections by a mixed chorus. The roll of honor listed Edwin W. Stenson, Melvin K. Helis, Harold Severinson, and many more, while Judge T. C. Gilbert presided over the presentation. The events highlighted community support for service members with a strong, faith-filled program.
